Hope Valley College are looking to recruit a receptionist to assist in the provision of an efficient, professional and welcoming reception and administrative support service. In the role of receptionist, you are often the first point of contact for the school. The successful postholder will be required to demonstrate a high level of customer service, be able to communicate effectively with parents, students and staff and show initiative and organisation skills in a busy work environment.

The student medical room is based at reception, this role is part of the first aid team within school, and it is required to provide this to students and staff and administer medication. Full training will be provided, but applicants must be patient, compassionate and willing to fulfil this task.

Required to start in September, a Pastoral Support Assistant to work within our friendly, fast-paced and experienced team, providing an efficient and effective pastoral support service. You must be able to follow systems, procedures and processes to the standards required by the School, Trust and appropriate regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities will include working with the Heads of Year, Senior Leadership Team, support staff team, teaching staff and outside agencies to ensure all our students receive relevant, appropriate and focused support and behave to the high standards expected in our school. Previous experience of working with young people would be an advantage.

The post holder will also play a key part in the administrative function of the school, inputting and analysing student data, communicating both verbally and in writing with a variety of stakeholders and undertaking a range of pastoral administrative duties.

Required for September 2025, an enthusiastic and qualified teacher of PE. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and highly successful team and would particularly suit an ECT or newly qualified teacher to join our experienced Physical Education Faculty. Hope Valley Pathways is a specialist post-16 provision for young people with SEND, preparing them for life and work. It is set in the beautiful Peak District countryside and has its own building situated on the same site as Hope Valley College and currently has 23 students. We are seeking an inspiring and passionate HLTA to support our young people with engaging with their education and making the most of the experiences offered to them during their time with us. The role will involve working closely with the Head of Hope Valley Pathways and other teaching staff and the day-to-day coordination of the team of learning mentors. The successful candidate will require a nurturing and inclusive attitude and have the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with students and parents. The post is a temporary role for two academic years, starting on the 01 September 2025 and ending on the 31 August 2027.
