Ofsted

Stocksbridge Junior School is the only school in Sheffield to be placed on Ofsted’s list of outstanding schools, having received four 'Outstanding' Ofsted reports in 1997, 2002, 2006 and 2015.

Ofsted inspectors visited our school to carry out an inspection on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 February 2015. We are delighted that the school achieved its fourth ‘outstanding’ result in succession. Under the inspection framework, schools were judged in five areas. Stocksbridge Junior School achieved the highest possible grade of ‘outstanding’ in all five areas.

Stocksbridge Junior School became a new academy within Chorus Education Trust on 1 December 2023. Ofsted usually inspects all new schools within their third year of operation. Ofsted reports dating from prior to joining Chorus Trust are available on the Ofsted website.

Parent View

Ofsted Parent View is a website where you can tell Ofsted what you think of your child's school. The questionnaire can be completed at any time - you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected. You can find out more, and complete a questionnaire, at parentview.ofsted.gov.uk/.
